I'm a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Branding student who has spent the last 6 months looking into luxury exclusive spaces, discovering what goes on behind the doors of private members clubs and invite-only brand events. With an interest in community development, I was intrigued by the role of luxury exclusive spaces - whether they function as platforms for fostering new communities or whether they contribute to aggravating existing societal exclusions. Through speaking to consumers in these spaces and professionals in this industry I thoroughly enjoyed gaining an understanding of the motives behind attending and setting up these spaces.
