I am a final year student on the Fashion Knitwear and Knitted Textiles course BA (Hons) after completing a year in industry at Robert Todds. I have completed a two-week Shima Seiki training course after being sponsored by the Framework Knitters Livery Company. I am currently a finalist for the 2024 Shima Seiki student competition. My final major project is inspired by Chemistry and the 70s to create a charming menswear collection. I was sponsored by Zegna Baruffa for yarn which has allowed me to use environmentally friendly, luxury yarns with varying compositions and qualities. I was also sponsored by Source Tricot who helped manufacture one of my final garments. My first year at NTU was on the Textiles course therefore my collection features a range of textile and finishing techniques such as dying, embroidering and felting.
