After many years working for some notable British fashion brands I decided to go to university as a mature student to explore my creative potential and eye for detail as a designer. My work often explores themes of minimalism, emphasis on fabric choice and sustainability as well as workwear and conceptual thinking, I like to add depth to my projects which often utilises multiple medias from design and music to film and photography. This helps me maximise creativity, for example, my graduate collection is made on a single sewing machine which encouraged me to think carefully about construction and finish, which was showcased with a video, soundtrack and look-book. By making my projects multidisciplinary it has led me to collaborate with other creatives allowing me to learn and be inspired as well as forcing me from my comfort zone. This is testament to my teamwork skills, amiability, work ethic and boundless curiosity. I have a keen interest in design, film and photography.
