Final project theme: Urban agriculture in the future. Inspired by a summer internship in Shanghai, China, where I was amazed by the number of people on the metro and the roads every day, I started to think about what would happen if there was no longer enough food for the urbanised population in the future. Through research, it has been shown that Urban agriculture will become mainstream in the future, so my work is intended to be a fashionable way to connect with men who need to switch between work and agriculture. The rich colours of the two garments come from the greenery shops in my life and the potted plants I grow myself; the bright prints come from the interesting botanical details I capture and are printed on eco-friendly organic fabrics; and the creative pockets make it easy to store important items for commuters and those who work in agriculture. Through promotion, the project can inspire a shift towards a more environmentally conscious and socially responsible fashion.
