During my three years at NTU, I have discovered my passion for set design, particularly when designing and creating for dance and ballet shows. Coming from a dance background, I have always enjoyed experimenting and being creative. For my final year realised project, I designed and constructed the set and costumes for the Connections dance show at Nottingham College. Seeing my visions become a reality for the first time was inspirational, and has reaffirmed my interest in design for theatre and live performance. From an early age, I have always been enthusiastic about art, including drawing and painting, leading to my interest in the design sector. I enjoy set and costume design, model making, and AutoCAD, all of which are vital skills that I look forward to developing in the future. I am also interested in Interior Architecture and Design; I intend to pursue a Masters course in this, to broaden my horizons in the design industry.
