Playful Paradox is an uplifting interiors collection crafted to promote well-being by expressing one's inner child. Inspired by Dopamine Décor, the collection represents a harmonious blend of sophistication and Kitsch. Drawing inspiration from arts and crafts and childhood games, it adds a playful touch whilst maintaining a contemporary, high-end interior feel. My aim for this project was to incorporate a plethora of fun textures and colours, giving me the freedom to let loose and enjoy the process. Playful Paradox aims to create an environment that transcends the conventional, offering a unique blend of nostalgia and modernity. It is a celebration of vibrant, vivid colours, and comforting textures, designed to evoke joy and timeless sophistication. While specialising in embroidery, I also work with other disciplines, such as weave and print. Additionally, I participated in the Next Menswear Live Brief and the Glovers Competition.
