I am a woven textile designer who has a strong interest in the aesthetic of streetwear fashion and uses these influences to translate into woven textiles. My graduate collection We Are pays homage to the dynamic energy of urban life; aimed at inspiring a shift within menswear by pushing the boundaries of colour and infusing streetwear with a renewed sense of authenticity. Employing my distinctive graphic design style, I adeptly translate concepts using CAD to create diverse patterns and repeats. Leveraging my comprehensive understanding of colour theory, I explore innovative weaves and palettes, fostering creativity with traditional textile forms. My work was recognised in my engagement with an industry live brief published by Paul Vogel, where I secured third place and earned the opportunity to showcase my work at Premiere Vision. As a result, my work was acquired by Gap LA, providing invaluable first hand experience within the industry.
