Hi, I’m Shaun, a final year BA (Hons) Graphic Design student at Nottingham Trent University. I love typography, posters, branding and fun illustrations. In my work, I use my passion for music as a driving force of inspiration routing from Blue Note and The Psychedelic 60s through to design trends in music today. My Project titled It’s A Banger is one of my favourites. I created an unlikely collaboration between Heck Sausages and Oddballs to make a campaign focused on penis positivity. I created a pack of mismatched sausages to highlight the important message that no matter the size and shape ‘It’s A Banger’. I utilised fun sausage characters of different shapes and sizes at the centre of the campaign to catch the eye of the audience. I have created an exciting brand including a logo and posters for a Glasgow-based events company called Jeopardize. In the future, I would love to work for a design studio to make impactful designs and continue working in the music industry.
