I am a final year BA (Hons) Costume Design and Construction student. My design work combines historical fashion with influences from high fashion and nature in order to create something unique and high impact. Both my final year projects have combined themes of historical periods such as the Viking Age and ancient Greece, mythology, and modern couture. I have developed sewing and construction skills that have helped inform my design process and have taken part in multiple film placements that have taught me to consider the practical parameters for costume design. I hope to be able to work within costume and wardrobe departments across a range of performance genres, implementing my design skills where possible.
