My name is Rosie Broadfoot and I’m a BA (Hons) Textile Design student with a passion in illustration, painting and bringing elements into CAD to create artwork. My project I Wonder if aims to reconnect adults with their sense of curiosity that once defined their lives. Using a multi-media approach incorporating digital embroidery, jacquard weaving, clay and mixed media illustrations, creating a homeware and sleepwear collection, inviting people to embrace their inner child and find freedom within their own homes. Whilst at university, I have had the chance to work on live briefs with brands like ROMO and Sainsbury’s TU, helping me build a diverse perspective and challenge myself with adapting my style to each brief. Additionally, I was selected by Paul Vogel to showcase my designs for menswear shirting at Premier Vision. I am now looking for work opportunities in the creative field to expand my knowledge of design.
