Rosa Salahshoori

I am a final year student in BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion - making the move from London to Nottingham. My practise focuses on the disassembly and healing of social injustices that pose threat to human behaviour and status, implicating a vast collection of animated visuals, emotive styling, creative production and eccentric photography. Within a unique record of cultural innovation and reinforcement - Barbie is a key feature in the vision for gender equality. Barbie Renames India is an original project which sees to the protection, connection and relief of young women who do not conform to domestic values and seek open community; denoting a website, zine and AI influencer. After reviewing a positive global response, I hope to advance my research at the Jimmy Choo Academy in London whilst studying MA Fashion Entrepreneurship in Design & Brand Innovation. The end goal is to initiate a healing movement within each Asian country.
