I am Riley Campbell and I'm a photographer from Manchester coming to the end of my BA (Hons) Photography degree at NTU. My work is a mix of live music and event photography and portraiture. I aim to give representation to people from all kinds of backgrounds, exploring sub-cultures and communities. I recently shot Manchester Punk Festival, which was an enriching and valuable experience for me to grow my portfolio and gain more experience in my desired area. I plan to continue expanding my live music photography portfolio and join a publication for more opportunities. My final project is looking at the lives and experiences of LGBTQ+ people, using set-up portraits and candid shots to show the joy, love and unity in queer communities. This will be shown at our upcoming exhibition 'Don't Lick The Walls', showing at Backlit Gallery and Surface Gallery from 16th-24th May 2024.
