Rachel Predko

Hello! I am a final year BA (Hons) Graphic Design undergraduate student. I like to experiment with materials and making in my design outcomes and bring a bit of the handcrafted to the digital. My concept of a rag doll craft kit, and supporting brand identity, was a turning point in my self-discovery as a designer, as this allowed me to bring together two very different aspects of design which I am passionate about. I also like to have a creative conscience in my projects and want to create things that will connect with people. For example, my sleep diary collection features illustrations depicting symptoms of key sleep disorders, which people may relate to, and I have also put together the contents, which includes educational tips and tricks, to help combat stigma and improve sleep hygiene. Surface pattern design is a skillset which I am excited to explore further, and after graduating, I would love to develop my own range of pattern designs alongside a brand.
