My passion for costume design and construction stems from my longstanding love of history, fashion and the arts. I have a particular interest in period dramas and dystopian films which is reflected in my final year projects. My first project was developed for an immersive theatre adaptation of Kate Atkinson's 'Shrines of Gaiety'. I created a 1920s evening dress suitable for stage and quick change purposes, as well as a fully embroidered cloche and animal stole. My second project was for a film adaptation of Octavia E. Butler's 'Parable of the Sower'. This project focused on textiles, props and costume breakdown which successfully allowed the character to be placed within the dystopian environment. I am a creative and highly motivated individual who is proud to be showcasing my work with you all!
