My name is Olha Liesova, and I am a final year BA (Hons) Animation student. Originally from Ukraine, I use my work to explore my culture and share it with the world, as well as, to bring happiness to the viewer. My second-year film “Wings” is based on a poem by a Ukrainian writer Lina Kostenko that explores humanity. Currently I am more intrigued by rigging in Toon Boom Harmony, creating appealing and interesting characters for all ages to see. After the course I hope to continue with character rigging, as well as with spreading Ukrainian culture and history. Hopefully, one day, I’ll be able to go home and lift up the animation industry.
