I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, a melting pot of culture and stories. What better way to tell those stories than through film? Deciding to study film was the most daunting but worthwhile decision I've made this far, but there was just something about watching films and discovering all the little things that make that one movie stay in your memory forever, all the different ways movies make you feel. Ever since then, I knew I just had to be a part of that work. I wrote and directed several short films during my time in Jakarta and all the while I looked for ways to elevate my work and eventually discovered the importance of telling stories through set design. Since then I've art directed several short films and commercial projects in Jakarta. I'm always looking for ways to improve my technical abilities to create compelling concept artwork using the facilities and skills taught through the course.
