I’m Niamh, a woven textile designer; my final collection ‘Gingham Garden’ is a picnic-themed fabric range capturing the essence of sunny summer days. I have curated a bright & playful aesthetic that evokes happy memories of warm summer afternoons, creating products that can be used for summer picnics and brought into the home during colder months to bring small reminders of those positive moments all year round. This project has taken inspiration from the trend of dopamine decor, which promotes vibrant colours and textures to uplift moods. I am passionate about creating feelings of happiness and positivity through my work, drawing inspiration from everyday sources of joy around me. With experience in a variety of live briefs across fashion & interiors, including a menswear project with Paul Vogel which received a commendation for colour exploration & exhibited at Premier Vision Paris, I look forward to continuing this exploration working in industry.
