The concept of my final collection, titled 'British Threads,' is a reflection of my fascination with heritage design and a commitment to representing British culture. Drawing inspiration from nostalgia, architecture, football, and terrace culture, I aim to capture the essence of various subcultures, including mods and hooligans. Through the creation of hybrid garments, blending elements like nylon and denim with innovative finishing techniques, I strive to craft pieces that transcend traditional boundaries between tailoring and sportswear. Balancing my studies with employment, I honed essential skills in time management, reliability, and professionalism. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue pushing the boundaries of my design abilities, while deepening my understanding of the craft and exploring new avenues that align with my interests.
