I’m Lexi and during my time at Nottingham Trent University I’ve gained a strong foundation and understanding of fashion, including design and manufacture, with hands-on experience in related software such as Clo3D and Adobe, as well as pattern cutting and garment technologist skills. My studies have seen me participate in various internships, including time working across departments at Religion Clothing. I have entered a number of competitions including the Leather Sellers Award and SPINEXPO, where my group’s work was exhibited in Shanghai. My final year product range focuses on my upbringing in the beautiful North Wales countryside, as well as surrealism and anatomy. I’ve designed and manufactured my garments to be size inclusive and unisex, with a focus on well-made outcomes, using durable and sustainable materials, predominantly leather and using a range of techniques.
