Kristy Cheng

As a person who always loves trying anything new as long as it's remotely creative, I've grown so much as a creative individual over the past 3 years of studying graphic design. It was always a subject I've been engaged with, throughout my teenage years. After coming from Hong Kong to the UK for my degree, I've been able to combine cultures and design principles from different countries together, which has greatly influenced my practice. One of my greatest inspirations of all time is Japanese design, which I absolutely adore and can spend hours staring at. My interests in design lie greatly in typography, editorial design and publication and I love anything to do with books: whether it's the layout, the book binding, or the cover designs. I have also recently started picking up motion design and kinetic typography, while simultaneously enjoying branding projects that allow me to really express the essence of brand identities. If you like my work, please do send me a message!
