I am Jennifer Hansen (she/her), I have spent the last three years studying BA (Hons) Design for Film and Television at NTU. I have learnt the art of establishing a believable time, or location, whether it be real or fantasy; this is paramount in captivating an audience. I am greatly inspired by period and fantasy films in particular. For my first major project I reimagined the gothic horror story of 'Jekyll and Hyde' to fit a female protagonist, set in Victorian London. For my second major project I adapted the children's book 'Ma'at's Feather' for screen, this is set in ancient Egypt with elements of fantasy. Once I graduate, I will be looking for work in London. Technical drawing and concept art are the specific practices that I am keen to do in my future career although I would be looking for any art department work to enhance my skills and understanding of all areas.
