My practice focuses around three-dimensional miniature models which create dreamlike scenarios based on real life objects. I focus on making art in which I can enjoy both the process of creation as well as the finished piece. I am to get a reaction of joy and intrigue from the audience as well as a touch of nostalgia. Using a mixture of both made up and sentimental aspects in my final pieces, I can disconnect my own personal feelings as well as creating work that others can find somewhat personal as a viewer. When creating these pieces, I will experiment with many different materials to find what works best while sculpting to look most lifelike. The importance of fun aspects within my work presents itself in the final outcomes of my models.
