Hi there, I'm Jake (he/him) or as many call me, Woodie. I'm a Northumbrian-born Graphic Designer and artist studying BA (Hons) Illustration at NTU. A lot of my work focuses on the funny, light-hearted side of life with a particular spin on more serious topics like the cost of living crisis or the rising misogynistic hate. I specialise mostly in photoshop and illustrator, however I also use Procreate and Adobe Fresco to create drawings, fashion illustrations or digital oil paintings. After university my goal is to become a digital designer that specialises in advertising, branding and marketing; working with clients and brands all over the world I want to bring my dry sense of humour and witty ideas to life leading to eventually landing the role of a Creative Director.
