I am a BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion student originally from London. My work explores topics surrounding self-love and external and internal battles I've faced as a young, black artist. A lot of my pieces are hyper-realistic self-portraits that include some element of texture in them. I've always loved creating and see it as a vehicle for the unheard and underrepresented to show the world how they're feeling. Aside from art, I love to write, whether that be poetry, essays, stories, and after university I plan on starting a video essay series on YouTube that delves into topics similar to my art. Further, I also plan on converting my garage into an art studio where I can experiment with different mediums and create on a larger scale. My end goal is to exhibit my artwork and help other young, black artists to find their voice through art.
