I'm Hena Mistry, an artist currently studying Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University. My artistic vision revolves around the innovative use of projections and wires to explore the creative process and the interaction between raw materials and technology. Fascinated by the juxtaposition of analogue and digital elements, I incorporate wires into my installations to reveal the underlying structure and craftsmanship behind the finished artwork. A notable project was the curation of a gallery at the Surface Gallery in Nottingham, where I collaborated with friends on the installation ‘Truth or Trash’. This thought-provoking exhibition tackled contemporary UK societal issues, sparking dialogue and introspection among viewers. As I continue to develop as an artist, I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of my practice and exploring new ways to engage with audiences.
