I am a third year graduating from BA Design for Film and Television at Nottingham Trent University. I have loved the course and all the experience and skills I have a acquired during my time here. I think my excitement to graduate and go into the industry started during my first work experience at Elstree Studios on the Crown for Netflix. This was an amazing opportunity that gave me the confidence and skills that no project could have given me. After seeing what an exciting work environment I am going to go into it made me start to weigh up my options and see which area of the art department I wish to go into, considering not only what my greatest strengths are but also what part of each project I have enjoyed the most. I think my strongest skills lie with concept visualisation; I will ensure I practice and make my own pieces even after the course to add to my portfolio.
