Hello, I’m Hannah Pick, I’m a thoughtful contemporary designer and maker. Throughout my three years of studying BA (Hons) Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University, I developed a passion for creating a narrative and storytelling, looking at audience movement and interaction. I also developed technical skills such as Photoshop, TwinMotion, SketchUp and AutoCAD. I have gained experience in construction and scenic art, doing work experience at Richard Nutbourne Scenic Studio and Visual Scene, as well as being a member of National Youth Theatre Backstage. In my final year, I designed a speculative emotive show based on Mexican folk law La Llorona. I focused on designing carnival costumes and investigated new technology in theatre. I also worked with Nottingham Girls High School, in The Squire, creating the costume designs for West Side Story. As I’m coming out of university, I’m passionate about focusing on exhibition curation and heritage work, creating an immersive journey for the audience.
