I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student. Female empowerment and femininity have followed me through my degree being the focus of my dissertation and final project. With the use of pattern cutting and manufacturing skills I created my final products which focused on adaptive clothing, coming up with creative solutions for young women with dexterity issues. Supported by a mentorship with Very and a TASN bursary I created feminine and stylish occasion wear with alternative fastenings and specialised materials to bridge the gap between function and fashion. I've also explored print, embroidery, and leatherwork, alongside proficiency in CAD and design software. Throughout my time at NTU I also styled photo shoots, managed events of up to 200 people for ‘Sing’ choir, and created props and sets for a youth group's performance in the summer. I aim to pursue a career in the creative industry, prioritising human-centred design, especially in visual merchandising and curation.
