From my 3 years at Nottingham Trent University studying BA (Hons) Fashion, Communication and promotion, I have learnt not to follow the norm. I am originally from Leicestershire and moving to a city has opened up so many endless opportunities that I have been fortunate to experience. My university experience has been a roller coaster of a journey. From gaining new skills to learning who I am. Travelling in my university summers has allowed me to explore different cultures and meet some amazing people throughout the United States, helping me to choose a potential direction for a career in styling. Aligning with my values, having the power create an outfit that may elevate a person’s identity or to create a whole new persona, draws me in. By looking into my other interests, I learnt you can connect two sectors together through fashion which allowed me to understand that fashion can be implemented through endless avenues.
