I am an abstract, mixed media painter. I grew up in Buckinghamshire but have spent the last three years studying BA (Hons) Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University. Studying art at A level confirmed my admiration for the subject and inspired me to take my practice to the next step. I enjoy everything about process, and I prioritise having an experimental and playful approach to making. Textures from the natural world act as my inspiration and I replicate these in my paintings in a colourful way. In 2023 I took part in a collaborative exhibition held at Surface gallery and have also held several solo and group shows in the NTU Bonington building. These experiences have provided me with collaborative skills and installation experience. Last summer I gained work experience as a special effects trainee, specialising in the prop department making casts and moulds. I really enjoyed this experience and I aspire to eventfully be in a hands on creative industry like this.
