I am a BA (Hons) Graphic Design student. My practice focuses on working with mix media whilst exploring a variety of methods and techniques. My project Lil Moods visualises period symptoms in a cheerful manner and aims to educate younger target audience of the causes of these symptoms. Each character represents a period symptom such as cramps, migraines, and fatigue. The Beach Clean Up project has been inspired by the theme of gravity, which I turned into a campaign surrounding ocean pollution. A short stop motion animation, created using tissue paper and sand, represents the awful reality of ocean pollution. The low tides within the animation reveal an increasingly polluted beach, eventually calling for a local beach clean-up. After graduating, I intend to keep experimenting with mix media alongside working with other creatives within the industry.
