Hi! My name is Emiah Vanhorne Newton, I am a proud South Londoner of Jamaican descent. My passions lie in photography, public relations events and creative direction. I've focused my university projects on a range of topics I'm interested in such as my cultural heritage, social media, and the wider world of fashion. Within my friendship group, I naturally assumed the role of group activity organiser, a responsibility that has grown and transpired into a genuine interest for event planning, despite how stressful it is. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have experience in planning two events (print Fair & Short Cuts) for my course, collaborating amongst other students giving me a taste of life after university. After graduation, I am excited to work for a company with a large sense of community which focuses on evoking positive feelings amongst an inclusive community.
