I am E Quinn, a contemporary artist from the Black Forest in Germany. My practice incorporates AI images, photo editing and painting, merging traditional and new media art practices in 3D collage installations. Thematically I touch on digital and physical realities as well as social hierarchies and power structures in the context of cult organisations, particularly the organisation Heaven's Gate. By embracing fragmentation, distortion and the uncanny, I piece together fractures of reality to recontextualise the self in the digital age. I am looking forward to moving my practice in the direction of new media practices and continuing traditional image making alongside it. By engaging with the digital and physical more deeply, I aim to reconnect them in my future practice.
