I am a womenswear designer, specializing in print, and streetwear. My project acts as a love letter to our imperfections, acceptance of our flaws, our chaos and our mess. Mess is the basis for my final year fashion collection , specifically the untamed, disorderly and the unfiltered. The creases in bed sheets, the spectrum of shades found on the mould in a forgotten coffee cup, the dirty pile of clothes worn and enjoyed now quietly crumpled in a corner, all serve as a reminder of life, of vulnerability and of authenticity. There is beauty in the mess and the ugly. My collection uses handpicked preloved garments combined with deadstock/sustainable fabrics. Sustainability comes to forefront of my brands ethos. Print also features heavily in all my work, love to experiment with different mediums including digital screen print and etching.
