What began as a collector of Maneki-Neko (Lucky Cats) blossomed into an artistic journey motivated purely by my love of cats and fascination with Japanese culture. I explored a variety of artistic mediums, including two- and three-dimensional expressions, until finding solace and inspiration in ceramics. During the process of working with clay, I developed an intense passion for this medium, which drove me to focus on creating hand-built ceramic art with the Maneki-Neko theme. With each hand-built piece, I intend to foster cultural exchange, by evoking the emotions of joy, happiness, and good fortune that cats symbolise. In a world desperate for positivity, my art invites people to embrace blessing, just like what cats bring to us.
