I'm an MA Graphic Communication student. My work looks at how algorithms affect the way we see the news, often narrowing our perspectives. I plan to use light rays in my visuals to represent how perspectives can converge and expand. My project aims to create a news media outlet that brings together diverse viewpoints on current events. By connecting different news sources in one place, I hope to show a more complete picture of what's happening in the world. I also plan to market this as a campaign to raise awareness about how algorithms can narrow down perspectives and provide biased information. I want to help people understand how their view of the world can be shaped by the media they consume. By showing the full spectrum of news from multiple sources, I aim to change the way people consume and interact with news media. This project is about promoting a more informed and open-minded approach to understanding current events.
