Hi I’m Anna, as a print specialist, I have a real passion for design, colour and pattern. My graduate collection, ‘Warped Truth’, is a runway collection initially influenced by criminals such as the Yorkshire Ripper, as I have always been fascinated by true crime. After researching, I began to see a lot of the blame is put onto the women and the question “what were they wearing?” constantly gets asked, inspiring me to create an activist textile collection to make an impact and combat this sensitive topic. To gain legitimacy throughout my project I have been working in collaboration with the charity Safe line and currently filming a documentary with them about my collection. I have also worked on a variety of different live brief projects such as NEXT S/S 2023 menswear, working in collaboration with different specialisms and I have also been involved with Sainsbury's A/W children's wear live brief. I look forward to developing my skills further and working within industry.
