Amy Dipple is a British oil painter and textiles artist, from Hertfordshire, but is currently based in Nottingham. Having grown up in a creative family Dipple developed a interest in arts and went on to receive a Foundation Diploma at Hertford Regional College (2020), and is currently studying BA (Hons) Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University. Dipple is fascinated by the connection between humans and objects, as it offers a more personal approach in examining identity, in her view objects often carry layers of meaning, memories and emotions that become a reflection of identity, which is the foundation of her work. Her paintings use a mixture of textiles and sculpture forms to replicate chaotic environments full of objects, drawing the audience into a world where they actively participate in the unfolding story. In 2024, Dipple took part in a group exhibition titled 'Truth or Trash' at Nottingham Contemporary, creating life-size objects constructing a narrative to explore Britain.
