Hi, I'm Alice! I find that as a graphic designer and illustrator, storytelling is at the heart of everything I do. By drawing from personal interests and experiences, my work is often a reflection of my own story. This deep connection to my work means that every piece I create receives my full dedication and passion. I am particularly passionate about illustrating children’s books. ‘Flick Finds Her Flame’ tells the story of Flick, the broken matchstick, through a year of celebrations. The book explores themes of inadequacy and loneliness - something most of us have experienced - whilst ultimately championing that being yourself is enough. My time at university has also allowed me to develop my love for branding. My re-brand of Avon to ‘Nova’ (meaning new) utilises clear ink and foiling on the packaging. This creates a reflective element, a nod to Nova being Avon reflected backwards. Looking ahead, I'm eager to leave my footprint in the creative industry.
