I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Knitwear & Knitted Textiles student. With a focus on combining my pattern cutting and knitwear construction skills, my final project titled 'Loving in Triangles' showcases the eclectic and contemporary mix this can bring. Inspired by the Bloomsbury group and their fearless attitude towards silhouette and unexpected patterns, I wanted to create a story around heritage, craft and community whilst encouraging the wearer to curate and create their own dressing ritual. Therefore, the collection consists of high quality garments that can be rediscovered season after season, promoting my belief in selecting rather than accumulating. Made up of classic and relaxed silhouettes, the garments can be layered or swapped infinite ways, reflecting the Bloomsbury group's experimentation with blurring boundaries.
