Hi. I’m Zoe Lucca, an imaginative, hands-on designer. As a creative, exhibitions and design archives are my major points of inspiration. Artistic processes like mono-printing, collage and photography often make their way into my work and I have enjoyed incorporating elements of art direction into my projects this year. I am drawn to the ways in which type and image interact, focussing in on this through editorial and typography projects. Designing the working typeface Edwin Gothic and having my book on craft printed have been real highlights. I find the weird and wonderful exciting and am proud that my placenta skincare branding has been shortlisted for Born Ugly’s ‘Sell the Unsellable’ competition. I aim to continually push myself as a designer and am looking forward to continuing to develop my practice as I make the move from university to industry.
